This blog is a project that started by some former UFPE students from Pernambuco, Brazil.
The main objective of this blog is to share our working experiences in IT world, feedback is always welcome.
Now a little bit about us:
Currently a System Analyst at brazilian Airspace Control Department specialized in JavaEE enterprise systems focused on high performance JavaEE systems. With a technical background that goes from Linux System Administration, software development for Windows using Delphi and now focused on JavaEE. Rafael is also certified on Sun Certified Enterprise Architect (SCEA) 1.4 and 1.5, Sun Certified Business Component Developer (SCBCD) 1.5, Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD) 1.4 and Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) 1.4. Rafael holds a MSc in Software Engineering from Pernambuco Federal University. On spare times Rafael contributes to some Open Source projects including mobilejsf.
Rodrigo spent the last ten years “tasting” some areas in IT industry. His first job was as a System Administrator where he worked with Windows NT 4.0 servers and that in some months were migrated to GNU/Linux servers. Later on he has moved to software process engineering more exactly to configuration management and change control, passing also on requisites, software testing and developer in a J2EE project. Nowadays he is working as quality engineer in a mobile game developer  company (Meantime/C.E.S.A.R.) and teaching Object Oriented programing languages in a graduation course at Unibratec. Rodrigo is now a MSc student at CIn/UFPE and he is researching Science Parks based on a case study of Porto Digital.
Currently a Software Engineer at Politec working on J2EE projects and some system administration. In the past, worked with software development for Windows using Delphi and a series of databases (SQLServer, Oracle, MySQL…). Romeu is also certified on Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) 1.4. Alongside, he is a MSc candidate at CIn/UFPE and he is researching software productivity.
